I just re-did my steps from scratch, starting with a new
emacs session: emacs -Q
I then loaded your roto-mode.el (M-x load-file), then
created a new, empty file (C-x C-f), followed by
M-x roto-mode.
I then copied several of your forms from problems 1, 2, and
3.
I then moved line by line, and pressed the tab key to find
lines that had bad indentation, deleted the erroneous
whitespace, and adjusted smie-config using the steps in
the previous mail.
Here is what C-h v smie-config shows as its value:
((roto-mode (4 :before "let" nil) (0 :before "test" nil)
(0 :before "{" nil)))
This is with Emacs version 30.2.
