I really didn't think of that, but of course, that's a quite easy way,

Well, if you are used to spot certain things by color quickly, it can be
very confusing if those colors change :-) If there had been an easy
"export all of them at once", I would just have done that. Now I guess
we will transfer the most common ones that we find in the lisp files,
and if modes redefine them, people can still grep if from "their"
favourite mode files and add to their custom files.

Would you mind to share your adjustments somehow? The end-of-line-cursor is
indeed on my todo list, I consider that very useful! But I have started
with recreating the blinking brackets and the "electric" tilde and slash
in the file minibuffer, which was the most important missing thing (I use
that like 100 times per day ;-)).
