EWW with Duck-Duck-Go

Hi,

Emacs uses in EWW Duck-Duck-Go

Duck-Duck-Go is an American search engine
and under US law.
that means AFAIK that FBI etc can read and do save everything for their
use.
So they can´t say they are quite private.

Am I right?

This would mean to use rather search engines from other countries, who
are not automatically looked at by different „spy services“

what are your opinions?
which search engines to prefer?
