Applied and tried. Since I had already set this value in my
customization, it failed with the following:

error in process sentinel: run-hook-with-args: Wrong type argument: number-or-marker-p, t
error in process sentinel: Wrong type argument: number-or-marker-p, t

Needs to either work in this case, or instead add a separate timeout variable.
