I am a longtime jdb user, but decided to give jswat a try on your advice.

As you mentioned, your jswat.el works with jswat 2.39.  I took a very
quick stab at changing your file for jswat 3 that I just downloaded.
I also added some logic to either use jde-run-application-class if
defined, otherwise prompt for transport and port of a jvm running in
debug mode for j2ee debuggers out there.

I attached the updated jswat.el file for others to use.  Again, it was
a _make it work and see jdee-jswat integration_ set of changes; and no
regression testing.
