Hi Curtis, If possible, use the "Submit Problem Report" feature under JDE | Help (or just M-x jde-submit-problem-report) so that we can a full picture of your environment. If that doesn't work, please send some information on your Emacs and OS version, and the error messages you are getting. What exactly do you mean by "unusable" ? Regards, Nascif PS: I use combination of JDE/CEDET you described and it works fine for me. -----Original Message----- From: Curtis Fonger [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, September 03, 2006 11:18 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Compile Question Hi everyone, I'm new to this list, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask a question or not (please let me know if I'm breaking any protocol...). My problem is that I can't compile JDE correctly. I've tried different version combinations of JDE and CEDET, but still no luck. I've made sure that the makefile in jde/lisp points to the correct folders, and I use the "jde-compile-jde" command in emacs. Sometimes it compiles (with warnings), but then JDE is unusable for some reason. I'm using JDE 2.3.5.1 and CEDET 1.0pre3. Does anyone know of a combination of JDE and CEDET that compiles and works afterwards? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Curtis
