1) If I try to compile the new version of JDE, I get an error with the
following message (XEmacs):

Compiling /opt/local/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/lisp-src/jde-2.3.5.1/lisp/efc.elWhile compiling toplevel forms in file /opt/local/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/lis ** reference to free variable widget-button-pressed-face

">, 2

under emacs the error message reads as follows:

While compiling toplevel forms in file /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/jde-2.3.5.1/lisp/efc.el:
!! Wrong number of arguments ((#[(form val type) "\305^!\2031.\306 \307^!\"^\310

 cl-expr-contains (nil 1) cl-simple-expr-p gensym let subst] 6] 2))

I've never read in the mails anything about that, can I ignore that message?

2) I'm working with JDE 2.3.5 (because of the above message) under XEmacs and it runs perfectly.
Now I had to install it under emacs. For the user root it runs perfectly, but for a common user,
the beanshell can't be started. The error message is

cd ~/
/opt/Java_SUN/bin/java -classpath /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/jde/java/lib/bsh.jar:/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/jde/java/bsh-commands:/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/jde/java/lib/checkstyle-all.jar:/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/jde/java/lib/jakarta-regexp.jar:/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/jde/java/lib/jde.jar:/opt/Java_SUN/lib/tools.jar:/usr/share/java/ant/lib bsh.Interpreter

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: bsh/Interpreter

(this is done completely by hand, no .emacs-file, all needed files - cedet.el, jde.el - loaded by hand)

If I execute the same command from the shell, everything works perfectly well.

Jobst
