patched-up jde for generics?

Hi,

has anybody patched jdee to copy with generics (auto-complete et.al.)?

On a related note, is jdee officially dead? Or does anybody maintain
e.g. a website with interesting patches? Unfortunately I'm just a user,
not a lisp developer so I can't do those changes myself...

I wonder what happened to Paul K. -- after the last round of request for
comments from him regarding the state and future of jdee, he never
seemed to come back to posting here...
