source paths, class paths and Maven

Greetings,

I have a medium to large size Maven project and I'm looking for an
easy way to define source paths and class paths in JDEE. Anyone have
any suggestions? I tried using pom.el
(http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/wiki/JdeeAndMavenPom) but that seems
to hang whenever I open a project file.
