use the keyboard in jde-complete-menu

HI,

I'm using jdee in emacs on a Linux OS, and i set the variable 
jde-complete-function to jde-complete-menu. The problem is, when i do 
C-c C-v C-., it displays the menu, but i can only choose a method using 
the mouse, and not the keyboard. I've notice that, on windows, this 
problem doesn't happen. Do i need to configure anything to provide these 
functionality to select the method with the keyboard?
