Symbol's value as variable is void: jde-javadoc-maker

After installing emacs 22 the function jde-javadoc-autodoc-at-line 
generates the error mentioned in the subject. Any idea why this happens?

(I'm using java 1.6; JAVA_HOME has been set correctly.)
