It would appear that we might be better off closing the mailing list
altogether.  People seemingly are fine conversing over gmane, and it
is just occasionally that I notice that there _is_ a discussion after
my initial mails to the list.  The gatewaying appears flaky, to say
the least.  In short: there is more to be read on gmane than on the
list itself.  I'll try getting up to the state of affairs by checking
gmane right now.
