I strongly doubt this.  AFAIK messages sent via Gmane will only show
up on Gmane after doing a round trip to the mailing list and back to
Gmane.  So the problem must be somewhere else.

Not totally related but while we are at it: At least the preview-latex
mailing list currently isn't as slow as the AUCTeX mailing list.  I
don't know what's up with sunsite.dk (the mail queue statistics there
are several years old) but it is quite annoying that messages are
taking several hours to reach the list (regardless of being sent
directly or via Gmane).
