Of what error? Why shouldn't preview-latex run pdflatex when you are working with a PDFTeX mode document? [Snipped the output, all of which looks perfectly fine for a PDFTeX run of preview-latex] I am afraid I don't get your problem at the moment. The first problem report sounded strange, and I recommended trying out dumping the format explicitly or explicitly disabling it. Instead you make up a short test example which a) has nothing to do with the original problem report AFAICS b) works perfectly fine as far as I can determine from what you sent. Sorry if I sound like an idiot here, but I fail to see the exact problem, much less be able to recommend something to solve it. --=20 David Kastrup, Kriemhildstr. 15, 44793 Bochum ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
