GTK uses a stop sign in their stock icons, see > <URL:http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gtk/gtk-Stock-Items.html>. Good think people post links. You are probably referring to #define GTK_STOCK_DIALOG_ERROR and this is a) a _dialog_ error indicator b) a one-way street sign. Given the apparent cognitive capabilities of Emacs users, I don't see how anything except a big blood red sign could even hope to register. And it would appear that it is pretty irrelevant just what we place on that sign. Nobody will recognize it anyhow. So I guess that I'll make a "one-way" street sign after all. Distinctive shape, lots of red color. Never mind the meaning. -- David Kastrup, Kriemhildstr. 15, 44793 Bochum ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
