rel-0-8-1; preview-latex fails with new AUCTeX setting

Hello!

Last weekend I upgraded to teTeX 3, as distributed from Gerben Wierda's=20=

i-Packages site. Before I tried my new Emacs from CVS and did some=20
customization in AUCTeX. One setting was '(TeX-PDF-mode t). Now=20
preview-latex fails to convert mathematical formulas that went before=20
-- because it now uses pdftex. Is this known?
