I don't know.  Anyway, the error icon does not need to look nice.  It
is supposed to stand out.  And traffic signs _are_ flat.

Maybe I should add a one-pixel border of desaturized red (strictly
speaking something like grey20, but since most backgrounds will
probably be light, grey40 might be better) around the sign to make it
blend better with weakly colored backgrounds.  That would take the
edge off somewhat.
