Building emacs from CVS...

Hello,

I'm trying to build emacs from CVS on OS X 10.1.5, and I am having some 
difficulty. I've tried it in the past without problems, but now when I try 
to do it I do

,/configure --prefix=/usr/local --without-x

which works fine, and then I do

make bootstrap

which fails with

Fatal error (4).make[2]: *** [autoloads] Illegal instruction

Anybody have any idea what's wrong?
