Is there any schedule about the emacs-unicode branch?

Hi there:

   I noticed there emacs-unicode branch is keeping on an active
   developing, but is any release schedule there? I am eager to that
   because of chinese gb18030 support. And is there any todo list
   available, I hope I can make any help.
