nxml-slash-auto-complete-flag and auto-indent

In my previous version of nxml-mode, when my close tag auto-completed, it also auto-indented to the correct indentation.  Now, with a more recent version of nxml mode, I set the nxml-slash-auto-complete-flag flag to get auto-complete, but there doesn't seem to be a way to get it to auto-indent.  Can anyone lend some advice as to how to get this behavior?
