Hi,
Can nxml-mode or nxhtml-mode support HTML5 in its HTML (not XHTML, not XML) syntax?
If not, would patches for such support be accepted?
On the one hand, nxml-mode was geared specifically for XML, so HTML5 seems out of place in it. On the other, psgml-mode and old sgml-mode both are based on SGML, and HTML5's HTML syntax is not SGML either. I want my Emacs to edit HTML5 (as text/html) with parsing and validation, but I am not sure what would be the best place to add it...
