What is this "improved" nxml-mode of which you speak?

The only nxml-mode I have seen is very sparse, with very few controls,
and not usable for writing XML text documents, which is why I use
psgml-mode still.

Fortunately, the usurpation of xml-mode by nxml-mode can be overcome by
invoking sgml-mode, which re-overwrites it, allowing xml-mode to regain
its former supremacy :-)

Better, is anyone working on adding back the features of psgml-mode in
its XML incarnation (and even xxml-mode) to nxml-mode? It's becoming an
embarrassment to have such a powerful tool as Emacs unable to be a
proper XML authoring tool.
