Emacs crashed with a segfault.  I'm not sure what happened -- I was 
doing something else at the time (not in Emacs) and when I tried to 
Alt-Tab back to my Emacs window, I couldn't find it.  That's when I 
noticed that bash had printed 'Segmentation fault'.

I've attached a gdb backtrace.
