For a moderate size, I finished up using (set-default-font "-courier-medium-r-normal--14-140-75-75-m-90-iso8859-1") 90 instead of 110, 14 - 140 instead of Peter's 18-180. Sigh. I don't like magic incantations. Anyone know how to translate that string? Anyway its working, I'm back in emacs, psgml has transferred OK, not checked which version yet though.
