I have RedHat 9 stock, where font-lock-mode does not work in xml and sgml modes. Figuring that this may be fixed in later versions of psgml mode, I installed psgml 1.2.5. The install process went without errors. The only thing unexpected was that the configure script only took a couple seconds to run, and the install guide indicated that this could take a very long time to run. After the install, I discovered that it broke html-mode, and didn't fix the xml/sgml syntax highlighting. Now I get the following error: Key sequence C-c C-c - uses invalid prefix characters. Does anyone know how to fix this? I thought about updating to the latest emacs, but it looks like a major effort. Emacs is *huge*, bigger than linux. RPMs are a nightmare; and I wouldn't know which tarballs to install in what order. Suppose I start over and build a new machine. If I install Gentoo w/ emacs, will it come with psgml, or is psgml still a seperate install? Anyone know if there are any issues running psgml on gentoo? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
