I've uploaded the log files into the cloud I linked earlier (the ones 
that start with "2-"). That change seems to have done the trick!

One question to that: when the fingerprint prompt is shown, the cursor 
is still shown to the right of it, like for the password prompt, is it 
possible to remove that? It really is a tiny nitpick in the end.

Anything else you can think of for me try to test its limits?
