[emacs-w3m:13889] help subscribing to w3m list

I have tried a few different ways with a few different email clients
and I have not been able to successfully subscribe to this list.

Following <https://emacs-w3m.github.io/#mailing_list> I have sent an
email to <[email protected]> with just subscribe myname in the body
of the message with no subject.

Should I be doing something different?

Ps. When I try and search the archive at
<http://emacs-w3m.namazu.org/ml/index.html> I get the following error:
"The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
unable to complete your request"
