(sending a copy of this to the new planner list) I actually started on something like this a year or so ago. I got as far as = being able to message the bot and have it give me my tasks for the day. I = did it through ERC and Bitlbee, so the bot could be contacted on any number = of different networks. The bot was an Erbot instance. Fun stuff, maybe I'll = try to pick it back up again.=20 - original message - Subject: [emacs-wiki-discuss] AIM todo bot From: "Dave Bauer" <[email protected]> Date: 2006-06-23 21:51 This bot http://lifehacker.com/software/todotxt/geek-to-live-the-todotxt-aim-bot-1828= 35.php can edit a todo.txt on your machine. Obvious issues with letting an AIM bot write files on your hard = drive, but its still a cool idea. Would be fun to have a planner bot! A commeter also suggested a Jabber bot, which would also be fun.
