Indic/Devnagari Typing using Windows IME displayed as ???

In emacs 24.2, by using 'set-input-coding devnagari-*', I am able to type in Devnagari (Hindi/Indic) and it displays perfectly. But I want to type using Windows (IME's) Sanskrit/Hindi input. Devnagari texts entered using Windows IME sadly don't display properly and appears as ??? characters.  Please help me to figure out. Thank you very much.
