Great. I think that's essentially what I did too (on some machines). I also
haven't done any of that on some and it worked. I don't know when those
steps are necessary, but as a "if it doesn't work, try this" procedure it's
good.
Addpm could be modified to add the app id when it creates the shortcut, and
eliminate step 2.
