Parsing doctype

Hi, I installed NTEmacs 21.2 and I'm using xae1-0beta7. For some unknown reason, it takes about 10-15 minutes now to parse the doctype. I manually byte compiled each of the lisp files. No change. Any ideas? Thanks, Jeff
