I've already got a message back from the DOCBOOK-APPS list. My version of
saxon was too outdated.

| Hi Jeff,
|
| Seems reasonable enough. I did almost the same: I installed 1.48 in a
separate subdirectory xae\doctypes\docbook\styles\docbook-xsl-1.48 rather
than replacing Paul's distribution. Must be time to delve into it. I'll
get back to you.

| Cheers,
| Karel

|
| Karel,
|
| First, I downloaded it from
| http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=68704. Then
| installed it to Paul's XAE directory, i.e.,
|
| xae-1.0beta6\doctypes\docbook\styles\docbook
|
| Replacing the version that Paul had include with the XAE package.
|
| Was there something I missed when doing this?
| Jeff

|
| Hi Jeff,
|
| How did you manage to get XAE working with the docbook XSL 1.48 in the
first
| place? If I try to use it, I get an error when the style sheet is
compiled:
|
| -----8<-----
| Compiling stylesheet...
|
| com.icl.saxon.style.StyleException: At saxon:output on line 88 of
|
file:/c:/emacs/site-lisp/xae/doctypes/docbook/styles/docbook-xsl-1.48/html/c
| hunker.xsl: Attribute href is not allowed on this element
| Command aborted.
|
| >
| -----8<-----
|
| This is with the Saxon 5.5.1 that comes with XAE. If I try to use Saxon
6.5
| (by placing the appropriate jar file in CLASSPATH), things get even worse.

|
| Hope you can point me in the right direction.
|
| Cheers,
| Karel

|
| Can anyone explain, when I execute sgml-insert-element within the address
| node, I get prompted for the firstname, but when I attempt to generate the
| HTML, the parser says that no templates match firstname?
|
| I am using 1.48 XSL of DocBook.
