I'll try it on Mac OS and Debian this weekend, I have other XEmacs
work I'll be doing then.  I suspect we'll find that it's either
Fedora-specific (including patches to XEmacs, tcsh, or libraries used
by the above) or version-specific to tcsh in the end.
