I haven't heard anybody complain that I mean "doesn't update every few weeks". I have no need for most of what XEmacs does, let alone what modern Gnu Emacs does, and people always mess with "little" things when they release new versions. For example, the last time I tried to use Gnu Emacs (back around 22?), it insisted on opening in a window ten times the size of my screen.
