xemacs wiki

has anyone considered implementing a wiki for xemacs?  i would STRONGLY like to
see this done.  the idea of the wiki is that it provides a sort of structured
web pages, where ANYONE can edit what's currently there.  this sounds impossible
at first but in fact the entire wikipedia is managed this way, and it's just
wonderful.  zsh has a wiki, something like zshwiki.org, and this should be our
model when creating one.  zsh even uses sunsite.dk, like us, so we could
basically just copy their setup.  finally you've got a central repository where
anyone could make an entry concerning a patch of theirs, others could add
comments about the patch, make updates, etc.  we always complain about losing
information and are frustrated that valuable info in mailing lists just floats
away into the archive and becomes invisible -- well, just create a wiki entry
based on the important stuff in the mailing thread, and you can essentially
continue the thread on the wiki itself ...  and then it's permanent, and
organized in the right place.  the interface is extremely easy, no web
programming needed (but you can put in links and other stuff as needed).

i think we TOTALLY need this.

adrian, or someone, would you be willing to set up something like this?  take a
look at zshwiki.org.

again, anybody, take a look at www.zshwiki.org for an example of a wiki just
started not long ago, of the sort that we would want.

also take a look at www.wikipedia.org for the HUGE wikipedia, with more than
170,000 entries added in only 2.8 years on every subject you can imagine.

once this is set up i'll certainly help "seed" the info.
