I know, I've already patched a window-configuration-hook (thought I sent another message about that) into my XEmacs. And it seems to be working for me (with specifiers), but I'll need to add the run-hooks to a few more places (and add docs). The bug I wrote about to beta, was annoying me, but turned out not to be my fault. > Jóhann> The actual window numbers as such come from Gnu Emacs' > Jóhann> (window-list), which returns a fixed list (independent of > Jóhann> current-window). > > But is this independent of operations like "bury-buffer"? I think so, but I'm not delving into Gnu core to be sure. I just calculate the index into window-list for the number. Have fun, Johann -- Windows? I look out of windows.
