Of course it helps a fair amount (although _I_ forgot about it, so I
have to wonder how many users know about it :-( ), but our "kitchen
sink" installers have a well-deserved reputation for being stale and
occasionally broken.  If I were were as diligent as norbert is in
releasing betas, 21.5.17 would be about 5 releases behind; sometime in
the next few days it will be two behind, anyway.
