G'day, I have been using xemacs as a development environment for some time. However, for quite some time I've had a problem with next-error in compilation mode. Basically, even if I have already opened a buffer visiting a file, next-error will *always* create a new buffer (labeled with a [2]) the first time I visit an error in a particular file. I often end up with multiple buffers (with different contents) visiting the same file. This does not happen with emacs version 21.3.1 which I am thinking of going back to if I can't resolve this problem. Any ideas? -- Cheers, Brendan. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brendan McCane Email: [email protected] Department of Computer Scienc Phone: +64 3 479 8588/8578.
