Hello list, I freshly installed xemacs 21.4.14 with nothing special in ./configure at all. I open it, try to open a file with c-x c-f, it works fine like I'm used to from emacs. However, I tried to use the fine toolbar / menu, and I get the error message from my subject: Symbol's function definition is void: make-annotation Odd. Trying it many times (if somethings doesn't work at first, keep hammering it, you never know :P) I saw a dialoguebox kinda trying to pop up and getting closed immediately. AFTER using either toolbar or File menu, I can also no longer open files with c-x c-f, the error message this time says file-p instead of make-annotation. I'm running Linux here, KDE3. Distribution is SuSE. Any hints? A search through the archives brought up a blank page, so either the search script barfed (shouldn't it at least tell me there were no results?) or this has never ever happened before. Which I'd doubt. Any help is appreciated, Daniel
