Right, HEAD may be broken at any given time.  "Gamma" and "stable"
(21.4 is now considered stable, has been for several months) are on
CVS branches to avoid exactly that.  Given the number of platforms we
support, we have released the occasional broken code, especially on
Windows (I couldn't build native at that time, so I had to go on what
the Windows developers gave me), but the people who kept saying "if
this doesn't work on Windows, it's a bug" have shut up, all those tees
have been dotted and eyes crossed.

Besides, Vin is much stricter than me.  :-)
