Hi,
I've been using XEmacs for some time now (after using vim for about 5
years),
I really like it, but there a few things which I used to do in vim but I
don't
know how to do them in XEmacs (although I'm sure it's possible),
These are my problems:
1. Customized Syntax Highlighting:
In vim I've created a syntax called "dtxt", when I run "set
syntax=dtxt",
it sets up my customized syntax highlighting (I've attached an example
to this email: syntax.gif)
I've looked everywhere I could, and I couldn't find a simple example
that shows how to do this.
2. Encrypted Files
In vim I can run ":X" and it will encrypt the file with a password of my
choice, and the file gets encrypted (including the swap file and backup
file),
when I open it, vim asks for my password, and decrypts it (although the
file is still encrypted when I save it).
3. Autocompletion like Visual C++
Is it possible to have autocompletion like Visual C++'s, or anything
close to it?
Thanks in advance,
and Best Regards,
David E.
