file-expand-wildcards not found

Hi, i wanted to give xemacs a try and used my emacs configuration. Xemacs complains about the function file-expand-wildcards. Under emacs it was in ..share/emacs/21.X/lisp/files.elc. My xemacs version of files.elc (21.4.12 as SuSE 8.2 package) doesn't seam to contain it. Is there a replacement of that function? Thanks! Georg
