"M-x info" does not work

Hello,

today I tried to use the xemacs "info" function (usually, I read info 
files with "tkinfo"). Unfortunately, this doesn't seem work here: I get 
some empty "info" buffers and some directories, all in "Fundamental" mode 
and that's it... (see below). I surlely have misconfigured something, but 
I really don't know where to look...

All I want to do in the end is some xemacs analog to ">tkinfo cvs" ...
