The xemacs-news mailing list is pretty hit-or-miss, because there are
technical problems with the news gateway.

For better service, either use the users' newsgroup comp.emacs.xemacs
or the testers' mailing list [email protected].

I would try the newsgroup first, as the currently active developers
are mostly Unix people, and this looks like a very Windows specific
issue since in works on some versions but not on others.  Maybe
somebody else has at least seen the problem before.
