Hello,

When I am compiling something, I get very long error lines from gcc, like
this

/mnt/ext1/home/gru/projects/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/yyyyyyyyyy/zzzzzzzz/../aaaaaaaaaaa/SomeClass.cpp:207:
`somevar' undeclared (first use this function)

When I see this in my compilation buffer, it looks something like this:

/mnt/ext1/home/gru/projects/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/yyyyyyyyyy/zzzzzzzz/../aaaaaaaaaaa/So

which is not really informative... So I have to change to the compilation
buffer and scroll to the end of the line.

Is there some way to make this a bit more practical ? Perhaps filter out
the first 4 or five paths or make the buffer right justified or anything ?

Thank you for your help,
Markus Grunwald
