Getting "Doing Fork: Bad File Descriptor" when using various tools

Hello, I am using Xemacs, Cygwin version, on a Windows 2000 station. When I tried to use the tools, specifically "Tools -> Compare -> Two Files" or "Tools -> Grep -> Grep all files in directory", the tool fails with an error in the bottom line stating "Doing Fork: Bad File Descriptor" . According to the binary name, I am using xemacs-21.4.13. I am uncertain how to troubleshoot this issue, so any advice is appreciated. -- Eric Nute <[email protected]>
