The info pages for XEmacs contain a short description of dired. But I
think there must be a more complete stand-alone info file on dired.
I conclude this from the fact that when I type

    Control-u h

while in dired-mode, then I get the error message "Info file dired
does not exist". Now the key

    Control-u h

invokes the function "dired-describe-mode" and this function in turn
invokes

   (info "dired")

So, there must be a separate info documentation for dired.
Unfortunately, it is not installed on SUSE 9.0 and I was not able to
find it on the net. I was only able to find an Info on dired-x, but
that is for emacs, not for xemacs. Has anybody a clue where I can find
this info file?

Karl Stroetmann
