help needed with xEmacs

Hi,
  1)Could you tell me how to close only one file in a xemacs window that
has multiple files. 
doing C-x C-c exits out of entire xemacs window.
 
 2) I would also like to know how to find correct match for a closing
bracket in a c file. ( i.e. for a particular '{' how do I find opening
bracket '}')
