hi, I have xemacs-21.4.12 under RedHat Linux 9 and I have following question: when I try to have some Polish diactrical characters, such as ą, ę, ć etc. I press right alt + letter (e.g. alt + a to have ą) and there is a message "aogonek not defined". Similar message for other letters: alt + e = eogonek not defined alt + l = lstroke not defined alt + z = zabovedot not defined describe-language-evironmet gives such result: ----- Polish language environment This language environment is a generic one for Latin-2 (ISO-8859-2) character set which supports the following languages: Albanian, Czech, English, German, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Serbian, Croatian, Slovak, Slovene, Sorbian (upper and lower), and Swedish. Input methods: Character sets: ascii: ASCII (ISO646 IRV) latin-iso8859-2: ISO8859-2 (Latin-2) Coding systems: iso-8859-2 (`MIME/Ltn-2' in mode line): MIME ISO-8859-2 ----- So it looks like there is no input method for Polish language? Can you help me? best regards Jakub from Poland
