Try adding this to your ~/.xemacs/init.el, and restarting:=20

(set-language-environment "Latin-2")
(setq latin-unity-preapproved-coding-system-list '(iso-8859-2))
(latin-unity-install)

You=E2=80=99ll need the Latin Unity package available, but most copies of=
 XEmacs
that have Mule enabled ship with that already.=20

latin-unity into mule-base and having the preapproved coding system list =

of the language environment settings.)

The people who wrote it are Japanese, and haven=E2=80=99t had much exposu=

Roman-alphabet languages that aren=E2=80=99t English, unfortunately :-( .=

By the way, your mailer didn=E2=80=99t specify a MIME character set for t=

attached file, so mine guessed it was ISO-8859-1.=20
